Nights will be long and full of terror at Sunway Lagoon in Petaling Jaya, Selangor with the return of the annual Nights Of Fright event. The theme park will be hosting eight haunted houses and four scare zones.
Happening between Sept 28 and Oct 31, the event is on its sixth consecutive year and will feature a plethora of attractions to tide over thrill seekers.
Step into Wendigo – The Legend In The Mist, to discover a place of myths and monsters. According to folklore, a Wendigo is an evil cannibal-like spirit that devours men.
If you have a fear of clowns, think twice before entering Phobia: Coulrophobia – The Fear Of Clowns. Elsewhere, Slaughterhouse 13 – abandoned after a worker discovered a body hanging on the hooks – might have you consider becoming a vegetarian.
Talking about vegetarianism, beware of the animals at Zombie Zoo. They are now out of control. Its zombie mayhem with humans and animals eager to terrorise guests as they set foot upon this horrifying zoo.
Head down to the Scarytales Theater for some hair-raising horror stories. Sit quietly and listen to local ghost stories featuring the pontianak, toyol and pocong. For more local horror, check out Jampi. You will get to meet a Malay dukun as well as Indian and Chinese witches while they chant mantras and perform rituals.
Other attractions to look out for include Ghostbusters, Horrorwood Studios Wax Museum Of Monsters, Ghost Face and Enclave Of Torture.
The Nights Of Fright event takes place from 7.30pm to 11.30pm, every Friday to Sunday.
