All-American heritage brands led the way, with Ralph Lauren championing that timeless beauty staple: the fresh-faced glow. Natural, sunkissed beauty was the basis of the brand's Spring 2018 look, with makeup artist Tom Pecheux creating a dewy, healthy-looking complexion, subtly enhanced with blusher and highlighter. Another US brand opting for the squeaky clean look was Calvin Klein, whose quirky and eccentric accessories contrasted with the models' barefaced complexions, matte lips and neatly groomed brows.
